Auckland Hotel Accommodation

There are, of course, many types of accommodation throughout New Zealand.  Many people from the UK fly into Auckland and need accommodation for at least one night.  It can be a lottery booking an unknown hotel when you've never set foot in the country let alone the town where the airport is located.  The safest bet is to book a hotel run by a reputable chain, for example a Mercure Hotel, or choose a hotel from the Expedia New Zealand website.

Although rooms in such hotels can be uninteresting and utilitarian, the visitor is non-the-less assured of a good basic service in a clean room with some mod-cons and, more importantly perhaps, somewhere to eat breakfast.  To many travellers arriving from a long way away that is all that is required in advance of travelling to the first destination of their tour of New Zealand.

However, for people with long pockets and a desire for a touch more in the way of luxury, perhaps a day or two or longer at the 4/5 star St Martins Waldorf Apartments Hotel would be more acceptable.  Or, for a touch of class, the Devereux Boutique Hotel that "emanates style, service & value" would be the choice of the discerning traveller.

There's a wide and ever growing range of hotels in Auckland and elsewhere in New Zealand so check out availability and prices now by visiting BuyNZ Holidays.
